David Acton Chief Financial Officer David M. Acton is the CFO for Edge Technologies.  His responsibilities include development, implementation and administration of the finance and accounting functions for the company.  Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Acton served as a Vice President of Finance and a Vice President / Controller for IT industry government contractors in the Northern Virginia area. Mr. Acton holds a CPA license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and has over fourteen years of progressive experience in GAAP accounting for both commercial and federal government entities, with detailed knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the federal Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and the 8(a) Program.  His expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting provides the requisite management of day-to-day business operations.  The internal control processes that Mr. Acton has implemented have proven exceptionally effective in audits performed by both external CPA firms and the federal Defense Contract Audit Agency.  Mr. Acton received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Strayer University.
