Betsy Gorgei

Co-founder, CEO

As CEO, Betsy Gorgei provides long-term corporate vision, planning and strategies for Edge. Ms. Gorgei's customer-centric leadership approach has helped shape Edge into a solutions-focused organization dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. She is responsible for the company's overall product and service direction, sales and marketing strategies, and customer and partner relationship management, and for ensuring that Edge recruits and retains the industry's top talent.

Ms. Gorgei co-founded Edge in 1993 and previously served as the company's VP of Sales and Marketing. She has more than 30 years' experience in all facets of the IT industry, including general management, acquisition strategies, sales, marketing, consulting services, financial control, customer support, vendor relations and quality assurance programs. Ms. Gorgei has a proven track record of starting, building, and successfully managing profitable high-tech organizations.

Prior to starting Edge, Ms. Gorgei co-founded two businesses in 1980: Easy Rentals, Inc., a computer rental business, and Memory Systems, Inc., a network systems integration business. Ms. Gorgei sold both of these businesses in 1989 to JWP, Inc., a multi-billion dollar company, and stayed on as Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the subsequent four years. During Ms. Gorgei's tenure at JWP, she significantly grew both revenues and net operating income. Ms. Gorgei is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Business Management.

Doug Yeager

Product Line Manager

Doug Yeager provides the vision and direction for Edge Technologies standard-setting enPortal and AppBoard product lines. Since joining Edge in 1999, Doug has served as the primary developer and customer implementation manager for enPortal. He has directed the launch and growth of enPortal, and managed Edge's enPortal development team. Doug's experience and leadership in data integration and visualization technologies plays a vital role in the development of Edge's ground-breaking AppBoard visualization toolkit.

Before joining Edge, Doug worked as a technical programmer and analyst for CSC, where he worked on many aspects of mission analysis and infrastructure software development. He received his bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.

Mike Berman

Director of Customer Relations

Mike Berman is Edge Technologies' Customer Advocate. Mike supports customers throughout every phase of their engagement with Edge's products and services and works to ensure that Edge delivers the best customer experience in the industry. Since joining Edge in 2003, Mike has played a variety of customer-focused roles within the company, including: training of developers and end-users, managing product documentation, customer support, and testing. Before joining Edge, Mr. Berman managed the lifecycle of actuarial software products for the pension industry. Mr. Berman received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University.

Steve Harwood

Director, Business Development

As Edge Technologies' Director of Business Development, Steve develops the plans and strategies that drive business expansion for Edge products and services. Working with sales and marketing, Steve focuses on growth-oriented initiatives with Edge's partner network and is constantly looking for new opportunities to expand the Edge brand. Prior to joining Edge, Steve served as a Channel Technical Manager with IBM Tivoli's North American Netcool Channel Team where he assisted IBM resellers and OEM partners with opportunity identification and deal progression through the channel pipeline. Prior to IBM, Steve worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Micromuse and has been involved with network and business service management for over a decade. Steve graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Becky Land

Federal Business Development Manager

With more than 13-years' experience in high technology sales and business development, Becky is responsible for promoting Edge solutions to, and building strong relationships with, the Federal Government and System Integrator communities. Becky's extensive experience working with program managers and technical specialists brings a customer-centric understanding of the unique needs of both integrators and Federal IT personnel. In addition to sales and business development strategies, Becky works to manage and facilitate mutually rewarding relationships with Edge SI partners and their government customers. Prior to joining Edge, Becky was Federal Sales Director for Windward IT Solutions, a provider of Business Technology Management solutions for public and private sector clients. Previously, Becky worked with a number of technology firms, including Pepperweed Consulting, Serena Software, Inc. and ABC Technologies, Inc. Becky attended Portland State University and served in the United States Army.

Ward Cobleigh

Director, Solutions Marketing & Project Management

Ward Cobleigh manages Solutions Marketing and Project Management for Edge Technologies.  He is responsible for helping customers and partners understand and fully benefit from Edge Technologies' clean, clear, and simple approach to data integration and visualization.  With 25 years of experience in networking and systems management technologies, Ward is a veteran speaker and panelist at IT industry events and forums worldwide.

Prior to joining the Edge team, Ward worked in a wide variety of Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Alliance Management roles at industry leading organizations including Fluke Networks, Visual Network Systems, Ganymede Software, Network General, FileNet, and Memorex Telex.
